Why The Drop
After over a decade in the marketing world, I saw too many brands struggling to bridge the gap between great design and smart strategy. I started The Drop to create a space where both could exist where creative feels intentional, and results come from clarity, not guesswork. This studio is my way of helping bold brands show up with confidence and connect with the people who matter.

Hi, I’m Shelby, founder, designer, strategist, and wearer of many hats here at The Drop.
With over 11 years of professional marketing experience, I’ve worked across industries helping brands grow with clarity and intention. I hold a degree in Mass Communications from Kansas State University, with an emphasis in Journalism, Public Relations, and Advertising. But more than that, I bring a designer’s eye, a writer’s voice, and a strategist’s mindset to every project I take on.
I’ve always seen the world a little differently. Through patterns, color, story, and emotion. It’s this mix of intuition and insight that helps me truly understand my clients and bring their ideas to life in ways they hadn’t imagined. I believe your brand should feel like you, just elevated and unmistakably clear. That’s where I come in.
At The Drop, I build clean, conversion ready brands, websites, content, and campaigns for people with vision. People who are passionate, multi-faceted, and ready to show up like they mean it.
When I’m not deep in brand builds or photo shoots, you’ll find me hanging with my friends, family, and husband and our two dogs. I have a large and cuddly golden retriever and a grumpy schnauzer-poodle mix. I’m Midwest raised, detail obsessed, and always chasing the perfect balance between bold and intentional.
